The Gallery

In a world where we are unconsciously immersed in images every day, the art gallery is a space where we go to take part in a conscious act of viewing.

I am exploring that act of viewing in this work, and how our relationship with what we are viewing is shaped by the context of the gallery.

It is a dream-like space, which appears to be removed from real time and the real world. By re-presenting the gallery, as images in a new space, I hope to create a heightened awareness in the viewer of their own process of viewing, and the circular connection being made between viewer, art object and gallerys
