I have a fascination for denying the picturesque within my work by continually questioning the historical conventions and representations of the landscape.

I am interested in looking beyond the surface, exploring the landscape's hidden depths and underlying ambiguities. Through shifts in scale, I convey my visual experiences of a landscape which goes beyond the pictorial tradition.
